Randy and Kevin took Sean to the emergency room last night about 1:00. He was not feeling well and began having very rapid heartbeat, profuse sweating, uncontrollable shaking and muscles jerking. Needless to say it was very frightening, but the doctor on call was able to quickly identify the problem. Sean, for reasons that aren't clear, had extremely low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). As I write he is still in the hospital for observation but should be released some time this morning.
The doctor told Randy that we shouldn't expect a clear diagnosis on why Sean went into shock. Please be praying that if there is some underlying cause that it would be quickly revealed and resolved. Praise God with us that we were able to get good medical treatment.
